Stewart-Haas Racing driver Cole Custer will bring fans’ memories back to the mid-2000s with his throwback paint scheme during the May NASCAR Xfinity Series
® race at Darlington Raceway.
Custer’s ride during the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR® will turn back the clock to an eye-catching orange-and-black car that team owner Gene Haas fielded in the mid-2000s. This tribute paint scheme will feature the same tiger-inspired elements plus the Haas Tooling logo re-imagined in a similar style of the sponsor that was on the sides and hoods of the original car.
Now fans can get into the throwback spirit with the official Lionel Racing die-cast of Custer’s No. 00 Haas Throwback Ford Mustang. Available in 1:24 scale, each racing replica is produced with authentic details like an opening hood, rolling Goodyear tires, a hand-applied decal package, and more. In addition, a 1:24-scale in gleaming Color Chrome and a 1:64-scale die-cast are also on offer.
